Program Coordinator

The Pas Friendship Centre’s Program Coordinator ensures the development, delivery, and evaluation of programs, services, and activities that provide educational, recreational, cultural, and social opportunities for the community.

Our programming supports all ages and focuses on promoting connection, growth, and well-being through in-house activities and community events.

What We Offer

Our Program Coordinator creates and coordinates workshops, lessons, and events across the following areas:

  • Arts – painting, crafts, music, and creative workshops
  • Community – seasonal events, holiday programming, and volunteer opportunities
  • Culture –cultural workshops
  • Crime Prevention – awareness sessions and youth engagement activities
  • Youth – leadership programs, after-school activities, and mentorship

We also host annual events such as:

  • National Indigenous Peoples Day (NIPD)
  • National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Who Can Access Our Programs

Our programs are open to all community members of all ages, with a focus on supporting Indigenous families, youth, and Elders in The Pas and surrounding areas.

The Pas Friendship Centre Inc. offers career-related services, including job search support, career coaching, and workplace development courses. We assist with resume and cover letter writing, document scanning, and other employment needs. Additionally, we provide Computer Skills Workshops.
